LOTTERY CREDIT FORMS
You may claim the lottery and gaming credit, if, on January 1, you were the owner of the property and used the property as your primary residence for at least six months of the year. Forms are available from Wisconsin Dept of Revenue, or contact Town of Wilson Treasurer. File this completed form at the Town of Wilson Treasurer’s office. If you purchased a home after January 1 and used the property as your primary residence, and the previous owner received the lottery credit, you should receive the lottery credit without filing a form. If you received a lottery credit on your last real estate tax bill and have lived in the house on that property as your permanent residence, you should receive the lottery credit on your next tax bill and do not need to apply for the lottery credit.
